Kids and Youth Ministry

At Shepherd of the Sierra, we are passionate about helping children and teens grow in their faith while having fun and building friendships. Through hands-on activities, engaging lessons, and special events, we strive to show how every story in the Bible points to Jesus.

Sunday School

• When: Sundays at 10:45 a.m. (except the first Sunday of each month)
• What: Fun, Fellowship, and Faith!
  Our Sunday School program is designed to bring the Bible to life through interactive activities, including games, crafts, and even LEGO creations! Kids of all ages will discover how God’s Word connects to their lives and points to Jesus as our Savior.

National Youth Gathering 2025

We’re gearing up for an unforgettable high school youth trip to the LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans, July 19-23, 2025! Held every three years since 1980, this event brings together thousands of Lutheran youth and leaders to grow in their faith, celebrate their identity in Christ, and build a deeper connection with God’s people.

We’re excited to announce we’re halfway to our fundraising goal, and there’s still time to join this life-changing experience. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible journey as we worship, learn, and serve together in the vibrant city of New Orleans!
