At Shepherd of the Sierra, we love bringing people together for fun, fellowship, and faith-filled activities! Whether you’re looking to connect through seasonal celebrations, delicious food, or meaningful Bible study, we have something for everyone.

Oktoberfest

  • When: October
    Celebrate fall with our festive Oktoberfest! Enjoy traditional German food, live music, games, and a warm community atmosphere. It’s a perfect event to bring friends and family for a day of fun and fellowship.

Annual Chili Cook-Off

  • When: November
    Get ready to spice things up! Our Annual Chili Cook-Off is a community favorite where local chefs and chili enthusiasts compete for the title of Best Chili. It’s a fun-filled evening featuring great food, friendly competition, and plenty of fellowship. Whether you’re entering your secret recipe or just coming to taste and vote, this is a can’t-miss event!

Ladies Bible Study

  • When: Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. (On break for the Summer)
    Looking to dive deeper into God’s Word? Our Ladies Bible Study meets weekly at the church for a time of reflection, discussion, and prayer. This group is a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith and build lasting friendships with other women in the congregation.

Mens Bible Study

  • When: Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. (On Break for the Summer)
    Our Men’s Bible Class is a laid-back time of fellowship and conversation as we work our way through the book of Acts. Together, we rest in the Gospel and discover how God’s Word shapes our lives today.

Adult Choir

  • When: Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. (on break for summer)
