Kids and Youth Ministry

At Shepherd of the Sierra, we are passionate about helping children and teens grow in their faith while having fun and building friendships. Through hands-on activities, engaging lessons, and special events, we strive to show how every story in the Bible points to Jesus.

Sunday School

• When: Sundays at 10:45 a.m. (except the first Sunday of each month)
• What: Fun, Fellowship, and Faith!
  Our Sunday School program is designed to bring the Bible to life through interactive activities, including games, crafts, and even LEGO creations! Kids of all ages will discover how God’s Word connects to their lives and points to Jesus as our Savior.

Youth Gathering 2025 – Still Going Strong

Our high school youth recently returned from the LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans, and the impact is still being felt. The week was filled with worship, teaching, service, and meaningful time together, all centered on the clear promise of the Gospel and our identity in Christ.

Students came home encouraged, asking good questions, and eager to stay connected. We’re continuing that momentum through ongoing youth gatherings, time in God’s Word, and service opportunities that help our youth live out what they experienced together.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, and supported this trip. Your generosity helped make it possible, and we’re grateful to see how God continues to work through our youth.
